Hypnotherapy

Do you wish to feel more confident in some aspect of your life? Maybe there is a habit such as smoking, overeating, or drinking too much you want to leave behind? Or a fear or phobia, or some other issue that it limiting you life? The good news is hypnotherapy can help make that easy.

Hypnotherapy and EFT are, in Maggie’s opinion, some of the most effective ways of getting to the core of the problem so you can let go and move on. As an experienced, professional hypnotherapist and Advanced EFT Practitioner and Trainer, Maggie have helped hundreds of people improve their lives. Let her do the same for YOU.

What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a relaxed state of focussed inner awareness which allows you to make changes more easily and naturally rather than simply trying to force yourself into feeling better or relying on willpower. In fact in order to make deep level changes it is necessary to involve a deeper part of our mind, which we can access through hypnotherapy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique – explained below). By contacting that deeper part of your mind, you are also able to find your own solutions too. And the new behaviour can feel natural.

So let’s look at the different approaches Maggie uses:

Clinical hypnotherapy
This simply means doing therapy while in a relaxed, hypnotic state, to help create new positive responses. At the simplest level, this can involve suggestion work, anchoring peak performance states, and rehearsing desired outcomes. and is highly effective for stopping smoking, exam nerves, relaxed childbirth, fear of flying, weight loss, pain control, driving nerves etc. Other approaches can involve hypno-healing, parts integration to deal with inner conflict, and investigating the reason for a certain behaviour.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
EFT or Tapping is a relatively new approach, rapidly gaining popularity due to its effectiveness in producing profound changes for all sorts of issues. Sometimes referred to as ‘psychological acupuncture’, EFT involves tapping on acupressure points on the face and upper body to balance the body’s energy system.

It has been used to help people with trauma and anxiety (research studies have shown significant success with war veterans), to change destructive habits, eliminate cravings, and help with all sorts of physical and emotional pain. It may look a bit unusual but it works!
